cross country ARIHIA
Well it all started a night before for the real cross country day.I was hoping that i didn't have to come to school and shame myself out in front of the other kids that were faster than me.Well so much for getting my hopes up. My cousin come and woke me up and made sure that i got to school on time.I had to run to the bus that day and I made it.
I am at school buzzing out and ‘’thinking to myself saying why do i even have to do it I am going to come last anyway’’.
We were all getting ready to do our chan’s and getting ready for the big race in other classrooms.Then not long after that the bell had rang for us all to go and do our chant in front of the school.Red was up first as always and we killed it ,then it went yellow they were all right then the other house groups.Mrs Lindsay looked like a gangster in his house which was cool that meant that everyone had fun.
Time for the big thing now as we were heading over to the race track thinking to myself ‘’No for real what am i doing here.’’Then i said to Miss Paraha,Miss why do we have to do this when we know that we are going to come last No answer from her.We got their and I see all of the mum’s and dad’s their to support there kids.As the year 8s were waiting for their turn to come it was like we were having a sing of with the boys.A couple of times we all got told to be quiet and cheer for your house group.
After that out of no where it started to rain ‘’All under the tent,’’ said Miss Paraha.And again the year 8 got split from the little kids cause some of them started crying because we were being to loud for them.Then a short while after that it was the boys turn for their race 123 go.No way it is our turn already 1 2 ready go I ran the start then I started walking when I got to Mrs Lindsay.Wheae Gayleen come on girls the faster you do this the faster i can go back to my son.One lap gone on to our second lap tiring but i still did it and we are done i come 4 well not real cause i was to slow i did’t go up the hill so i came 5.
Well I am proud that I had made an effort from the last cross country I had even my parents were proud of me to.
